So yeah, just like Metro.

Never played Metro so I can't make that call. I'll take your word for it though.

Looks like Bioshock and Dead Space had a baby. I like it.

Sure did. Now I just wait until the 7th.

Oh I already finished the demo. I have absolutely no intention of going back to it now that I know that job skills don't transfer.

Honestly, all I want from a new game console is a better version of whatever the last one was. I don't need bells and whistles so long as it can play the games I want.

I guess, but it was nowhere near as noticeable to me as in SM3D Land.

Wonderful. I was gonna grind some more jobs, but I see no point if I have to do it all again when I get the real game.

The 2D display really gets me. Barring Super Mario 3D Land, literally no 3DS game has tangible benefits to the 3D being turned on. It's an aesthetic choice that, while cool, offers no real plus to gaming.

So do job skills transfer to the full game? I accidentally skipped right past the dialogue that told me what all transfers.

Glad I can help.

I did that last year. I only bought three or so games with my own money. Anything else I got as gifts. Didn't get many games, but I did get my backlog under control.

Seems interesting to say the least. I'll give this a whirl sometime.

I honestly hated the demo, but I still bought it because I thought it looked charming and I like Platinum. They give you a far better tutorial in the game than the demo does. The demo throws you into the deep end, but the real game eases you into the baby end of the pool. I'd recommend it still.

Indeed it is snap. The Macho Man is rolling in his grave.

If you have a Wii U and don't have The Wonderful 101, get it. It's incredibly fun, and surprisingly deep.

It's a game we can only play until the tides of time erode it from existence. It's a game that will disappear. It's a game that cannot be saved.

I'm all for a new Ecco. I've only ever finished Ecco, Jr. but man do I love that series.

Like I said to another person, I am primarily a console gamer. Steam Boxes initially appealed to be because I thought they would offer a decent gaming PC at a lower price. Seeing these though, and I don't really see a difference between buying one and making my own PC.

Thing is, I was one of those people. Seeing these prices though, I see almost no reason to not just build my own.
