Can you imagine #4 happening when we don’t give that to even our own people? I can see people here looking around and thinking “...wait...why can’t we have a decent healthcare system in this country?”  I can see the military industrial complex and the healthcare industry teaming up to make that a non-starter since it

She tries so hard to look like an Indiana Jones villain.  Be Best, indeed...

He has, so far, been very averse to engage in actual conflict (other than that air strike into Syria early on in his presidency...), but he has never been reluctant about running off at the mouth about how big his button is and other very provocative statements that have inflamed tensions for any number of weeks at a

Doesn’t the institutional unfairness inherent in income inequality as it pertains to education (and society, really) far exceed any benefit a $37 million donation confers to a relatively few underprivileged students?

I don’t really cry during movies, but I distinctly recall being choked up and holding back manly tears during this scene...yes, in theater:

“...White Nationalists find Asians to be the most agreeable non-white group in our society”)...”

Only the best March. People are saying it. Smart People.

I know...I tell people I’m 48, but the reality is that I was born in March which mean’s I’m actually closer to 49 than I am to 48...it’s a lie I’ve had to live down daily...

I think that attitude is OK as long as it’s immediately followed with “...as a result, I’m going to get a second opinion from a qualified and respected expert in the field”. Skepticism is fine as long as it bends to consensus expert opinion.

This country never has been and, under our business-as-usual atmosphere, never will be a meritocracy.  The only way that’s going to change is through a fundamental re-structuring of society because there are far too many influential people who have a vested interest in perpetuating a corrupt and unfair system.

I’d pull my daughter aside and say “Sweetie, I said I’d have an open mind about anyone you brought home...but, this guy?  Really?

Honestly, that would explain a lot. I wouldn’t be surprised if even his parents didn’t like him.

Elizabeth Warren after reading this article:

Between Stephen Miller, Rudy Giuliani, and Jim Jordan, we’ve had master classes on poorly executed obfuscation and mis-direction.

Stephen Miller has such an eminently punch-able face and that’s BEFORE he opens his mouth.  Someday, I hope I’m still alive when he says something supremely stupid to the wrong person and winds up spitting up teeth.  If there’s any justice in this world, it’ll happen before I die.  I’m not saying violence solves

I don’t own a gun. I’ve fired a number of weapons, but I don’t personally own a firearm.  However, I have thought about it more often in the last few years because I do believe that the worst of humanity is around the corner.  That being said, if I did decide to get one, and then firearms were outlawed down the road,

I hear their mechanized mobility scooter divisions are terrifying to behold...

Personally, I hope they all do jail time along with him.  I don’t care if it’s for jaywalking; I just want to see everyone involved in this criminal enterprise behind bars for a good number of years.

He tries so hard to look butch... The lady doth protest too much, methinks...

My greatest hope is that the court plays a laugh track after every response she gives.
