I still maintain that the Mummy is probably one of the best action movies of the last 25 years.

Not sure we’re talking about the same thing - the stock price IS the perceived value of the company, but the perception of the value of the company is often bananas, and isn’t ‘owned’ by the company - how can that be used as collateral in debt issuance?
Well.. it’s not always terminal illness - commonly is when you have a chance of being resuscitated but basically being a vegetable and being hooked up to machines to keep you alive. A lot of people do the DNR to avoid living like that and putting the decision to pull the plug or not on their families.
The value of the stocks or the value of the company? They’re two different things, really. Debt issuers would be looking at company value.
You mean from subsequent new public offerings? True, I hadn’t thought of that. But they could always make the argument that the stock price isn’t reflective of the state of their business, and if their revenues have been steadily increasing, they could make the case. Do you ever buy anything?
Oh, I see.
That’s true, but I’m not sure what you’re getting at. If you’re thinking that they hold the stock so that they can make a profit, that’s not really the case that I’ve ever seen/heard. I understand that your life has been in the US, but I don’t understand why that means you are “being forced” to remain.
I’m going to try to boil all of the other comments down. Tell me if this is what you’re getting, because this is what I’m getting.
Kids walking into home room with the firepower of a SWAT unit is a problem we can address. Don’t be obtuse.
How To Deal with Assholes
I honestly don’t know why this isn’t everyone’s song.
Net neutrality was first integrated into policy in 2005 when the Federal Communications Commission adopted four principles to “preserve and promote the open and interconnected nature of public internet.” But it wasn’t until the 2015 Open Internet Order that net neutrality as we know it today was officially made law.
