Really wish I could get into RTS games, but I always get overwhelmed. More comfortable with turn-based. Though I'm on PS3 so I'm limited either way. (got my butt kicked by R.U.S.E, had a better time with XCOM.)

Skyrim is a game that to this day can fall apart to just one frame per second and become unplayable. I think that's even worse than a game that won't let you play at all. I'd rather that than having hours of my life wasted. Every single quest was bugged. Worst game I ever bought, and the final straw when it comes to

I'm having a hard time comprehending this. I'm too scared to believe. Until it's in my hands, I can't risk my heart!

Awesome, thanks for the heads up, will definitely check out their album.

I wish you guys had done a Skyrim-watch for PS3 users back when we were going through this nightmare.

Unfortunately agree with the dissent in the talkbacks. The game looks like a pale imitation, The Expendables of RPGs if you will, trying too hard to replicate a bygone era.

So glad that I've stuck with Playstation all these years. It's crazy to have an online-only console considering the unreliable state of many American and European internet connections. Online-only may be ok in Asia, but Xbox isn't that popular over there is it?

Blows my mind that Lucas just can't think of any new ideas or characters, continually going back to the same well.

I'd have said Disney will be just as bad and ruin the next trilogy with pointless cameos and forced emulation* of the original trilogy, but they did nab a decent writer so there's still hope.

I have fond memories wasting hours of my young life playing Doom. In a way I'm glad this latest entry died. It would have just been a clone of whatever is popular today. Creating a sequel to a game from another era is tricky.

The older I get the less impressed I am of cutscenes. Seeing todays game trailers would have blew my mind back when I was a kid, but back then I was naive. These days, I need to see gameplay.

Has to be a joke, it's loved by all and today is April 1st. I'd love for it to be real, but odds are against it.

I don't mind the current 'k' logo, but prefer the black Kinja style. Only good thing the Kinja update brought with it is the favicon in my browser.

The only two games of the franchise I have yet to play haha! Well I definitely plan on playing those two via the HD set before tackling this new entry.

I would like a game from Kojima that doesn't involve an encyclopaedic knowledge of the convoluted universe he has created. Things were so simple with MGS1...

Anyone remember the Indy & Last Crusade game? I remember it being unreasonably difficult for my young self.

Wish Total War would come to PS3. :(

My biggest problem is that you have to continually click to read comments. It's mindblowing that its designed this way, as I'm sure 90% of web designers go by the 'three click' rule, which is that visitors get bored after three clicks and lost interest. It's definitely true in my case, I hate clicking excessively on

Although it's nice that NPCs seem like they're living their lives before we meet them and will continue to do so afterwards, my main problem with gaming these days (RPGs and open worlds anyway) is they still haven't moved beyoned 'fetch this item or kill that monster'. That is what the bulk of the game consists of,

There was a period in my life where I stopped playing games basically, which is why I missed out on MGS3 and FFX. Definitely need to get round to the HD updates!

The game blew me away. Yes it's a corridor shooter, but the narrative was one of the strongest I've experienced in a game, and the choices felt more substantial than most other games.
Got a thumbs up review from me. Glad Kotaku also recommend people play it too, even if the gameplay is not so hot.
