“Wahhhh I’m so tired of the witch hunts on dudes who grope underage girls. What about gropists’ rights?????”

Listen white people just because someone black brown or yellow was hired instead of you doesn’t mean you were discriminated against, it just means you’re not good enough.

Some people use larger service dogs because they are able to provide physical stability for the owner. A veteran who has one for PTSD might very well have also experienced traumatic brain injuries, which can cause issues with balance (requiring them to lean on the dog). PTSD can also cause feelings of stress,

Under ADA Title II, a Psychiatric Service Dog is not an emotional support animal. The Justice Department includes such dogs trained for calming people with PTSD during panic attacks in its definition of service animals for how it enforces the ADA: https://www.ada.gov/service_animals_2010.htm

Incorrect in that you’re classifying service dogs for PTSD as “emotional support animals.” There ARE service dogs trained to work with PTSD patients, and they are legitimate.

I know my own fucking experience and that of like 75 other white ladies, and none of us are getting harassed on a daily basis, and since “everyone” would include me and those 75 other ladies, you’re fucking wrong. Thanks for your comment.

I read it. I just think when a discussion is happening, coming off as “how can you know we don’t have it as bad as you?” isn’t really helpful, in my opinion. Yeah, all women get shit on, but the kind of shit varies wildly. That’s the point. I think I’ll let black women get a hard pass for saying they have it worse

it’s always so interesting to me how people like this americasaysalotofbullshitontheinternet will pull out the “trans is mental illness!!! it’s in the dsm!!! checkmate identity politickers!!!” as though the fact that dysphoria is real and has negative consequences for mental health is an argument in support of, like,

Forget being manly. Let’s just be healthy.

So many of the problems in our society can be boiled down to toxic masculinity.

black women got lynched too. I can think of several who were lynched for defending their sons.

But are you trying to actually connect with her experience or are you just trying to prove your point? I put my money on the latter.

If you really wanted to connect with her experience, you’d listen more and comment less. That’s what a lot of us men need to do. Shut the hell up for a few minutes, listen, and let

I’d disagree with that. Black women hold more degrees than any other demographic but are paid way less than just about any other demographic. Black women vote for the dems and, with the recent exception of the ACA, get the least return from that party. I could go on, but the fact is America returns black women’s

Oh, the irony of what you just called Black women.

White woman checking in with another white woman (at least you’ve implied you are white or something else besides black), the type of misogyny we experience is different than those of WOC (and if you’re a WOC it’s different than a black woman). It is entrenched with other contributing factors besides being a woman.

Black women face the same disparities as Black men. Plus, deal with society attacking their femininity and worth. Plus, men in general devaluing and sexualizing tham. Only to either A) go home to a Black man who takes out his frustrations on the world on her or B) go on the internet to see how white women do

I like the model of a continuum of privileges. A black man is still a man, a disabled white woman is still white. Every man is sent the message by society that he should be superior to women and view them as objects, just as every white person is sent the message by society that they ‘deserve’ more things than people

YES! I am a Mexican/ American Indian woman and my bff is a black Mexican American Woman. There are harassments and a whole bunch of other problems unique to her blackness I will never face. It’d be a slap in the face to start equating our problems. Yes we can and do fight for each other but this article is a

This is a great observation. We saw it with the Black Panthers and how the men shoved the women aside, even though the early work and activism was by women - the script that BLM followed, as well, with the same outcome so far - black men taking the forefront. Same with Civil rights, with many of the men rightly
