The discussion reminds me of this video from a PAX AUS panel.

Sounds like this video might be of interest to you.

You have to admit, Kinja did arrange these comments hilariously appropriately:

And it’s all baffling. What happened to Elon Musk?

Tesla has a DART rate of 1.9 GM is between 2.65 and 11 depending on the plant Ford is between 2.05 and 6.75.

No I was more referring to the traumatic amputation complaint at their power train facility. There are two open osha complaints this year at GM facilities and 9 in 2017.

Hell GM even got caught and fined for falsifying employee injury reports, but you won’t read about it here.

Here’s the secret - They are. They’re just not the all-singing-all-dancing cavalcade of fuck-ups that Tesla is. Their greatest defense is meeting expectations, on time, safely, and generally being boring to report about.
What, you think they’re going to make headlines with “Ford makes 1500 cars in Dearborn plant,

Even if you take money out of the equation, which is impossible, there are still the cultural issues.

When you can’t afford either of them, the difference between the two is largely meaningless. You can’t afford one of them by a larger amount of money, but you’re still excluded from both regardless.

And I said nothing about people of colour, the closest I came anything of the sort is pointing out that part prices

Yep. Wouldn’t be the first time they’ve tried to cite their burst production rate while tacitly - but not explicitly - that it’s their sustained rate.

Hard to say. Even at the top level of sim racing, it’s not cheap to get in - you need a pretty decent-to-good PC, which will run you a few hundred dollars to a thousand(and that’s just in the US, in other countries, parts prices can be much higher), plus a wheel and pedal setup which will run you another $150-$300,

I was joking, but that is really interesting to know, thank you!

I’m just disappointed he doesn’t pop out and run around like D.VA.

If you’re interested in a good car slash racing series of the same broad genre as Initial D, try Over Rev!, It’s really good. Even more slavish attention to detail to the cars than Initial D, but with more story, and without nearly as much filler. Unfortunately, it’s Manga only, no anime, and at this time, Scans only,

Well, only in the anime, but fair point. I forgot about that, since I was listening to eurobeat before I ran into Initial D.

I have. And there isn’t. Winning a race that you knew he was going to win from the off doesn’t a plot development make. Guy whose superpower being cars, who hates cars, but learns to begrudgingly like cars(delivered as exposition) is not meaningful character growth.
