I'm glad this is the top comment. I'm a bit late to make the obvious observation to those less traveled folks writing these stories.

Ummmmmmmm?

First thing that came to my mind as well. Lol

Yeah I liked how the previous article on KD was about beating the Blazers, and how that was such a glorious feat. Yet no mention of the blazers having lost to the Rockets the night before. Only when OKC beats them is it note-worthy.

OMG Kevin Durant is good at basketball! Thank you most informative article ever.

It sounded like they were becoming disgruntled with their inability to find a better student to interview. Because "Brandon" was the only other kid in his class. Because Kansas.

And the owner still has more money and more toys than you do, so.... you mad bro?

This is one of the rare times using a "friend who is a mechanic" went right.

But an 1 3/4 header is an 1 3/4 header no matter what the design. Who needs velocity spikes in the collectors? My buddies uncles co-worker had a trans am with no velocity spikes and it was fast as shit!

White looks great in pictures because they are able to make it look like a deep pearl white. But in person I agree, white with all the gun metal colored vents, not my thing.

Lol yeah... Last time I remember dealerships being lenient on modified cars was back in the LT1's with optisparks days.

You hit the nail on the head. My career is tuning/modifying late model GM vehicles w/ gen 3, 4, and now 5, V8 engines. Been doing it now for over 10 years. And it's rare to see someone around here (Houston) driving a Corvette that is a mid-life-crisis-mobile. Most of my friends drive heavily modified C6Z's... and

Side note, used ones are still bring msrp or more on eBay. One of my buddies just sold his for 5000 more than he paid for it.

The dealer I ordered mine from said the average age had completely changed with C7 orders. But side note, I didn't buy mine because I suddenly decided Vettes were acceptable for younger people. I have always loved and worked on Vettes.

The only irony here is that I am in fact bald. Genetics struck me early, so I have been shaving my head for 10 years. Maybe you should give it a try. lol

I'm 31 and own one. Am I having a midlife "crisis"?

And the question isn't if it can be done (run 8's on such setups). The question is how long with they last. Iron block is a much wiser choice for longevity, and or GMPP LSX block or similar such as Dart, etc.

Yes, iron block would have been a wiser choice as the cylinder walls in the aluminum blocks are thinner and not as strong with a 4.030 bore. Which is why almosy every reputable machine shop doing LS for a living only takes them (aluminum blocks) to about .005-.010 over stock.
