I haven't verified this myself, but as far as I've been told, your badass rank and the upgrades you purchase with the tokens rewarded from it are shared across characters. I'm not sure if the challenges themselves are character-specific, or if those are shared as well.

I really wish this weren't the way things are trending... I keep holding out at the possibility of an upcoming MH title on a Sony platform, but it's looking more and more like that ship has sailed. For the foreseeable future, at least.

Here's where I get mildly excited at the chance for a Sony Monster Hunter announcement. Check back with me in 10 hrs for my inevitable disappointment.

Unless it's changed recently, DDS 1 and 2 should be pretty easy to get on Amazon, and for a pretty good price too!

Awesome :]

No.

That's stated in this article as well, and isn't what's really being refuted here. The point of the headline and article is that if you're getting that extra sleep by sleeping in later on weekends, you're throwing your body's natural rhythm off for after the weekend. Instead, if you want to catch up on sleep, going

I typically end up going to bed earlier on Friday nights than I do on nights during the week. Typically, this is because I'm tired from only getting 6-ish hours of sleep a night during the week, but yeah. I'm usually up around the same time, or a bit earlier, on weekends as well.

The PS3 + Vita's Cross-Controller capabilities are indeed interesting. Their main drawback is devs can't guarantee those playing their games will have both devices, unless the game is specifically designed for those people (usually simple, gimicky games, considering how drastically reduced of a group they're

Agreed! I have a hard time parting with a zone I've been actively doing things in without finishing off that completion :P

I think their decision to require 100% world completion for crafting a legendary weapon was a very good idea. Sure, as more people complete this on their main character, there will be fewer running around the lower level zones, but I wouldn't be surprised to see most zones having a moderately healthy population for a

They may not want to, but they're making a hell of an effort to do so. They can sugarcoat it all they'd like, but when you take a multiplatform game and make it a console exclusive, you're going to risk alienating former fans that bought it on the no longer supported console(s). In this case, it's even worse, since n

Unfortunately, if you haven't done Sorrow's Embrace story mode yet, it houses one that seems to be a pretty regular group-ender. At least this one relies on less luck than the lovers did. My group ended up getting it on our second try, but mainly because we knew precisely what we needed to do. It still took roughly

I've enjoyed my personal story quests for the most part, though the filler quests as I get higher have been pretty throwaway (I'm 80 now, have done the story through reaching Fort Trinity, so 70ish). Your race and the faction you pick influences the story a lot though. Even different races see some different quests

But have they changed how devices sync with it? I still cringe, cross my fingers, and cover my eyes every time I need to perform a sync...

Good luck with Ascalonian Catacombs (AC) when you hit 30. A harsh introduction into what's generally a trend of overtuned story mode instances. Don't get me wrong, a lot of the story mode encounters are where they should be, but most dungeons have at least one boss that is very difficult or requires advanced tactics

I recall hearing of ArenaNet staff watching as press members played the game at events and they'd ask the player "that farm is on fire, aren't you going to go help?" and the player would respond "I don't have a quest for it." and carry on their way, or something to that extent. Thus, we got renown hearts.

For a large chain, I'd say it's definitely up there. I've had better, but those were all local, non-chain places.

No puppy I can understand, but they lost me at no taco.

Boo, by the description I was expecting them to all jump off. Only around 8 to maybe 10 of the 20-30 there jumped off. Still funny though :]
