Well, think how many tens of thousands of years it took humans to colonize THIS planet. Hyperluminal travel sounds great, and while I don’t think it’ll ever be realized for human transportation, it’s not a bad goal to strive for.

Well, I have long contended that we are overdue for a serious remake of that Tempest spinoff, Forbidden Planet. What would make it more interesting would be have a female starship captain developing a relationship with Morbeus’ daughter.

I would love to see a loyal translation of Dracula. No Romanian prince battling the Turks. No pretending to be American and teaming up with Van Helsing. No secretly being Judas. No running a resort for monsters. No vampires in SPAAAACCCCEEEE version. Just a straight by the book Victorian horror tale. A version where I
