Or "Person whose job it is to care about details does their job excellently!"

Good. Daniel Craig, IMO, is the best James Bond by far. The tonal shift made this possible.

Am I the only one here who thinks the villain thread of Mr. White in CR and Q of S was unresolved in Skyfall? If CR was part 1 and Q of S was part 2 then Skyfall kinda sidestepped and missed out on being the next step as part 3.

It wasn't Skyfall that had a massive tonal shift, it was Casino Royale. And frankly, I think Mike Myers was only half the problem; Jason Bourne was the other half.

Glad somebody finally said it outright. I remember at one point there was talk Pierce Brosnan was going to make an appearance in one of the Austin Powers movies and Austin Powers in one of the Bond movies. They had become THAT interchangeable. As much as Quantum of Solace has come to be regarded as one of the lesser

I don't think Craig is bent out of shape about it. He's just making a point and using colorful language to do it. Survey says "relax."

He also seems to be somewhat guilt ridden for beating his wife to death. Jesus, that sentence is fucked up.

The switch in Tyrion's storyline wasn't a jump-the-shark moment for me, but I prefer the original. If the show had inserted less violent sex that wasn't in the books, they could have kept the original storyline—and the horrific betrayal of it—it's a completely perverse expression of Lannister pride while the

Asha/Yara and her uncle Rodrik the Reader are the only sane people on that entire kingdom of bloodthirsty idiots. love those two.

Victarion was still a major asshole. An interesting one, though.

The other two men Ollie threatens to torture don't even look afraid. They literally dare him to hurt them. If you're worried about seeing some horrible dark room where a trembling victim is brutally tortured by some thug with all the power, don't worry. There's none of that heartrending stuff here.

Probably mocapped CG? But the promo image looks very much like Paul Bettany already.

Preach!

I'm a professional reader (I read self-published books for a publishing company looking for material worth taking further) and look, plot is no substitute for good characterization, but by the same token, no plot makes for a dull, dull book. I read (and write reports on) about three books a week, and usually at least

That's not fully accurate. You hold your dog responsible for pooping in the house.

I'd have to include Alien, although it was nice to see T1 getting its much-deserved love.

I just want it to be decent, it doesn't even have to be great. After Salvation my standards are so low. :(

5GHz is a much better option. HOWEVER, it has far less effective range. So if you switch to 5GHz, you'll get both better bandwidth and less latency, but you can only go so far before it drops off.
