I’ll make sure to waft it in your face as you walk by

You mean a company is making an option that people still want? This must be the first example in history. Someone alert the media.

First time on the internet, huh? You’ll get the lay of the land soon

I never thought I would miss VinSolutions.

I doubt she was arrested for the panhandling, as it was clearly over by this point. More likely the cops showed up and didn’t take her side, so she got belligerent.

This is SOP for very restricted models like this. When the orders open up, there will (hopefully for Dodge) be a mad dash for the dealerships to get an order in. What would you rather do? Take chance on missing out? Or throw down a few $k for a slot in advance.

That is absolutely what I did. And I had the legal right to do it as well. We could’ve held on to it for a bit longer actually, until the vehicle in question was sold. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

I’ll post from the employee side:

Because they aren’t middle or lower class, they are just temporarily embarrassed millionaires. They vote for the wealthy tax cuts, because what if I win the lottery tomorrow? Then I’d have to give more of it away.

Why is that a problem though? Most people have no interest in my advice or opinion. If you come in looking for a 7-seat SUV, but your budget only supports a smaller SUV or sedan, how do I show that in a way that doesn’t make someone upset? If I see a young person looking at an unreliable vehicle, how do I tell them

I’d start by asking friends. Everyone needs a car at some point, so ask friends, neighbors, and relatives. Even if they haven’t bought something you want, the people they have worked with can point you in the right direction. If you asked me about a car from another manufacturer, I can point you in the direction of

How to stop shady dealerships from taking advantage of you: stop going to shady dealerships. Seriously. 5 minutes of online research could save you a lot of time and trouble.

It looks like a car you would see in GTA V. Seriously. What is that rear tray doing?

Not a single iota. I’d like for them to stop HGTV entirely.

This is Quark, hitting maxium overdrive on his way to a much needed haircut.

I have BMW CCA tags, but they are just sequential, not customized. I selected them because the MD tags were atrocious at the time.

Makes sense that it would be a supplier issue. I can imagine the factory workers might never see the color of the seats, if they do indeed come prepackaged. It’s been many years since my factory tour, so I can’t remember.

Speaking as a BMW Inventory Manager, the vehicles are sent on a truck with only a clear plastic sheet on them, through which the seat color is visible.

What’s also kind of dumb is that for most of the American makes, you need to be either active duty/reserve or a full retiree. At most of the foreign makes, you can get the discount even if you just did your 4 years and then got out. So the Americans only give it to you if you’re career, the foreign cars will give it

Beauty must be in the eye of the beholder, because I work next to Infinity dealer, and they are hideous. They had one in a pale pink (think Mary K, but a few shades darker) and it just looked like a scrotum(to quote Mr. Clarkson)
