I wouldn’t call IE a failure, when it was launched it solidified the browser space and made my life a lot easier... until it didn’t. Problem was the tie into all the legacy stuff they had to keep for business and businesses not upgrading ever.

Zune was fantastic, especially the streaming service where you got 10 songs to keep per month. I might dig mine out again, the UI was and still is amazing.
I’m partial to the Bay Bridge given my grandpa on my dad’s side worked on it’s construction in the 30s. But I agree, the Golden Gate is the nicer drive - it’s an international landmark for a reason.
Not sure about your area, but similar to fast food (except for jesus chicken, which has super strict rules), the stations here are not that. It’s a single person/company who owns several of them. So, if the owner of the mobil by the house is a dick, I would need to switch brands or drive several miles out of the way…
Actually, most of these stations/shops are mom and pop. They are individually owned franchises. Not that different from a McDonalds or Subway.
Going to second that. Not a lot of bridge drives more special than the Golden Gate.
Starting it again? It never went away.
That’s not a French flag. France’s flag is Red, White, Blue with the stripes oriented vertically.
The Bridges on the way to Big Sur are a delight
Sydney Harbour Bridge was my answer too...but we walked/climbed it.
My pick is the Coronado Bridge. It rises to a height of 200 feet above the bay, and it’s a little over 2 miles long. It’s not quite the work of art of some of the ones below, but the view from it is stunning. I cross it almost every day and it never gets old. Seeing that view as I’m heading toward the island makes my …

“Use your damn turn signal.”
Remember that you do not have the right of way when merging onto the highway.
This is a very good, very sensible list. Kudos.
Turn on your headlights when your wipers are on (it’s actually a law here now, albeit one more honored in the breach).
Turn on your headlights at night, for crying out loud! It’s dark, turn them on!! Other people need to see your car.
Properly position your vehicle to make a turn.
If traffic is slowed I’ll agree with that. If traffic is free-flowing, I do not. Slowed traffic should “zipper-merge” at the end of the merging lane, but in free-flowing traffic the merging vehicles should find a spot, match speed, and merge without impeding traffic.
If somebody is behind you turning their headlights on and off at night, it is because your headlights are off. The light coming out of the front of your vehicle that you think is your headlights is actually your Daytime Running Lights. Turn your damn headlights on.
Match your speed to traffic when merging onto the…
