There are dozens of cars which are better bloaty slushbox-ed GT tourers in every aspect than the Lexus. That is the fundamental issue, irrespective of my personal preferences for specific car types.

You obviously like it. The majority of people (even outside jalopnik) do not.

I’ve driven one, and it was a complete dog. I whole-heartedly agree. Plus it looks just downright terrible. Automatic only. Hugely overweight. It has almost no redeeming qualities.

This is a pretty funny point, because US DOT law says that LED DRLs have to be disabled on the side of a flashing signal because of concerns about visibility, but when the actual headlight is illuminated (and is magnitudes brighter than a DRL), they dont appear to have an issue.
