I will note this: Infinity War is very, very good. But there’s absolutely no “down time” in the movie. No time to breath, really. I’m sure Endgame - script-wise and plotwise -- is exactly the film the Russos and writers want. But does it let up? At all? Which is an odd thing to ask because I feel like Civil War and

And then the camera pans to reveal the savior is Annie Wilkes.

Back in the olden days, movies with intermissions typically reopened with a scene that 1-2 minutes to build up any momentum, meaning you didn’t miss anything if it took an extra moment for folks to walk in and quiet down. So, again, you’d have to plan for this in the editing/intermission decision.

Absolutely Team Intermission.

Imagine Ghost World as Black Widow’s true origin story. You’re welcome.

I absolutely think the King/Gerads comic could make a great movie. It’s all about the story, and MM has storytelling in spades. You just need to find a different way, of course, to tell it on film. I think the biggest challenge, TBH, is that King is able to get away with not having to dump much Fourth World backstory

Shit. I misread this as the cable channel AMC.

Or Earth astronauts finally reaching another planet and discovering it’s just a big interstellar toilet.

Oh bloody effing hell. I had completely blocked out all memories of Zelda the Sister from the original, looking like some nighmarish victim of Captain Trips. Scared the crap out of me.

Negan knew two people on the stakes: The redhead was one of his wives. Another was formerly one of his lieutenants. Furthermore he has expressed a desire to fit in with Alexandria, and Alexandria is most surely at war now.

It think it’s going to end with a riff of the scene at the end of “The Final Countdown,” only the old folks are Steve and Peggy.

Very excited for Valkyrie.

They’re not giving away that moment in the preview. Expecting JDM to have a significant part in the finale.

They were so, so, so patient, but the other beauty of tonight’s episode is that they have now utterly earned the “Unleash The Negan” moment.

If only The Cat From Outer Space had this kind of budget.

It seems pretty clear that one of the last scenes of the season, following many good guys being captured/attacked by the Whisperers, will involve someone dramatically turning to Negan for help.

DAYTIME ACTION in my Godzilla movies or GTFO

It will still be interesting to see the direction this movie goes. The MCU doesn’t really do “trilogies,” per se.

Can’t wait until Jerry has to explain to the King and Queen that, while they have a projector bulb, the only movie he has is “Night of the Living Dead”
