Honestly, this makes me want to abandon google more than anything else. I get that it’s a way to look good to people paying attention, but they should just let the administration continue to be the flaming shitbag it’s been since day one

OK. Google can rush to create a website that points you to the nearest testing station, but can the Trump (Impeached) regime come through with the testing stations?
Sounds like a Dilbert strip. Pointy haired boss - Can we do up a website that solves this pandemic? Dilbert - Maybe, but it will take a long time and a lot of testing. Pointy haired boss - I already told marketing we’d have it up by Monday. Guess you’ll be working the weekend.
I would prefer if Mike Pence stood behind him and whacked him the back of the head with a 2x4 after each lie/misstatement.
They dedicated all their resources and political capital to stopping the spread of the disease, and their policy decisions are being made by public health experts. All red tape is removed in the implementation of policy as if they were in a state of war. The populace is compliant in all requests. If cases and deaths…
No, my work does a majority of our business in China, and I can tell you production in our industry is back up to 70%, after having been down to as low as 10% during the peak. They are really on the upswing. And it’s due to them being proactive ass hell and quarantining millions of people. Shutting down whole cities…
I don’t think so. They got ahead of the curve in those cities, did massive testing and identified almost all of the cases - enough to reduce the transmission rate below that needed for community spread. We need to do the same here. Hint: the Koreans did the same and it is working.
Acting Deputy Secretary for Homeland Security, Ken Cuccinelli, corrected the president on Twitter after the speech
(Because there are Trump resorts in the UK)
Makes completely no sense how they built a business that way.
Good. The trucks should be crushed and molded into the shape of a Prius.
Nah - it’s perfectly normal to compare it to the flu. It’s an obvious frame of reference to an illness with symptoms similar to, if not the same as, the flu. It’s somewhat worse than the flu - exactly how much worse is yet to be determined. There, I compared it, perfectly fine. The problem is that you can’t equate it…
You know what I don’t need? Screens that stretch from pillar to pillar. There are a limited number of things I need to know while I’m driving. Speed, maybe the remaining range, and then the info about what song is playing, or what playlist I’m on.
Imagine getting yourself fired over a Taurus.
The real question is, who's going to hire someone with a track record of not doing fraud when you could do fraud? Certainly not VAG...
Well they withheld his 2018 pay. So arguably more reason to be filing suit, given the amount of money withheld.
That’s not what happened though. He was put into the position, uncovered this shit, filed the lawsuit himself and was cooperating, and as a result of exposing their bullshit, got pushed out.
According to the article, he was cooperating with the federal investigation into their sales practices. FCA has been a dick to him about it, so he’s leaving. He didn’t drop the dime on them as he was walking out the door. He leveled a whistleblower lawsuit against them last year.
I think you’re framing this irresponsibly. It’s more like he got the job, was like hey something’s up, talked to the correct authorities and got the company to fix it, and now that it’s obviously awkward he’s going to go get a new job.
It’s going to be weird to see the new Corvette’s rolling around the streets soon.
