I see no reason it should be eliminated. People drank the koolaid, got their Art History degree, and are now paying the price.

I think instead of paying for open loans the government should pay back all the already paid back loans.  Give the money to people who actually paid up after taking the loan.  

For the same money as this program we could eliminate every cent of student loan debt in America (that’s 44 million loans).

Yeah I wondered that too. 10X higher rating than any production vehicle ever released seems like advertising material counting on consumers not to understand the details about where that torque is measured.
