I was totally oblivious to the “OMG GOTTA HAVE IT” ness of this sandwich. Walked into my local Popeyes at lunchtime, ordered one and had it 5 minutes later. 4 of those minutes were spent waiting for fresh fries, but the sandwich was ready basically immediately.
I swore my next pickup would be a 1/2 ton with a diesel. But when it came time to actually do it, I couldnt. Picked up a brand new 2017 RAM 1500, but the EcoD would have been an extra 3K or so. With the low low mileage I put on my vehicles every year, no way I could justify the 3K, extra complexity and the fact that I…
Starred for “snerch”
Since most cash in America has at least trace amounts of cocaine on it, licking it would at least get you high even if you returned it and didn’t get to spend it.
What am I gonna do with 40 subscriptions to Vibe?
I love my ‘17 RAM and the new design is growing on me too, but even I have to wonder how all these sales numbers REALLY add up, with former upper management “whisleblowing” about how FCA tracks inventory and sales.......
My last new vehicle purchase I did just what the article says: walked into finance department (it was necessary as I had financed a tiny bit just to get a rebate) and nicely told them I didnt want any of what they had to offer.
I seriously don’t know which is worse. Death over time (falsified diesel results) or instant death-by-airbag because GM is too cheap to recall them.
This. 67K airbags without a rupture is great and all, if there were exactly 67K vehicles out there with them. With that list of models that fall under GMT900, surely there are a whole lot more than 67K.
1972 LT-1 Corvette. Factory A/C, pretty rare. Dad and I did a frame off restoration when I was 10 years old. It was dad’s car, but only really got driven to car shows once it was restored. Pretty damn cool, though (and I was known as “the kid with the orange Corvette” to a few people)
I wasn’t referring to you, specifically. Just to those who say they will keep something for 10+ years but in reality never really wanted to. Kinda like how I say every January 1 that I will stick to a diet and workout regiment and by the end of January...not so much.
It’s one thing to buy a car with an 84 month loan saying you will keep it forever. Actually keeping it forever is a whole different thing.

Ive always wanted to buy a new car completely in the form that a dealer gets it from the factory. Do not remove any plastic from anything, dont “detail” it, dont even prep it (other than what needs to be done to get it out of “shipping” mode if there is one)
Bought a used rear bumper for my truck. Its chrome so I wrapped it in moving blankets to protect it....if you werent there seeing what I wrapped up, you would swear its a body.
FCA has calculated that the days they enjoyed because of possible illegal acts FAR outweigh today, their one “just isn’t their day” day.
