2 kids got killed driving through our local shopping mall parking lot. While it doesn’t help that its setup with a “main drag” around the whole perimeter of the thing, the kids were estimated going about 70 mph. The HIGHWAY speed limit around here is 55, so they were going even faster than that in a damn parking lot.

5th gen RAM 1500 getting a 48V “eTorque” system.....coincidence?

down by the river

The GT is not a “small” car.

It’s basically akin to driving without your seatbelt on, getting launched through a windshield during an accident, then suing the manufacturer because you chose not to wear your seatbelt.

To be honest, my sister has a model S. Ive been in it using AutoPilot and as a passenger while it was running in AutoPilot. At least once it tried to run us off the road....not on purpose, just because the lane markers were faded or whatever. The difference is that we understand that can (will) happen, and keep our

What really gets me is that at least a couple of them acknowledge the system isn’t perfect, knew where the “issues” would occur and then relied on the system anyway.

Id love to get one of those dataloggers....I could swear I hear a light pinging noise under light load at about 2000RPM. No CELs though and its not loud so maybe just some rattling. A little disheartening since my truck only has 4K miles on it. I hate going to dealers, but they are the ones with the tools so I might

Or just switch the label from AKI to RON?

And even that is changed, sorta. My 5.7L Hemi “recommends” 89 but only “requires” 87. And I dont think it even has fuel maps built in for 89, so it runs as 87 at all times.

I put aftermarket speakers in my 1998 Dodge Neon. Broke one or two of the door panel clips when removing and reinstalling the panels. Since there were something like 12 clips on the door, I figured one or two broken ones wouldnt make a difference.

“but is the clutch really only good for 22k miles?”

They will have the answer to that question around February 2019.

Not to mention a brand new factory warranty. Nice car but priced too high when you look at “brand new” pricing.

Aren’t there already multiple “standards” for emissions? When I bought my first new car there were federal, CA and “New England” emissions packages. Living in CT I got “New England” which was apparently a clone of CA, but definitely different than federal.

Neutral:

A few of the smart ones point out that he is never hot in March or April. Then he starts to turn it on in May and going on what most would consider a tear for almost the rest of the season.

nnnnnneed more ammo.

Im not sure about AntMan/Wasp, but Captain Marvel is set in the 90s and is more of a backstory movie. So it WILL be pre-Snapture.

COTD? COTD.
