My Frontier didnt have a locking tailgate per-say (i.e. the handle didnt lock with the door locks) but it did have a simple half-moon shaped piece of steel that would prevent the tailgate from sliding right out of the hinge holes. Im surprised they ALL dont have it, and maybe they do, but mine was removed…

The R/T came with the ACR interior. I never used the “base” Neon seats, but the ACR/RT seats were so comfortable you wouldn’t believe. Perfect side and thigh bolstering and they were still somehow easy to get in and out of.

I factory ordered mine....no ABS brakes and stripe delete. If I pulled the R/T badges off it, it would be “just another Neon”. I especially liked how the VIN tied back to a Highline neon and not a special R/T or ACR pack. Was easy on the old insurance policy.
