My first new car was a ‘98 Neon R/T. An ACR with a few comfort options (no Konis though). Handled like it was on rails, had the ACR interior and gearing and was great fun overall. Would have been nice to be able to keep it as a racer but alas couldnt afford to.

First gen Neon had the ACR model which was basically made just for competition in SCCA. Adjustable Koni shocks, special gearing and arguably the most comfortable seats Ive ever experienced in any vehicle.
