I really like this article, but I couldn't think of a worse place to discuss it than the toxic cesspool that the Kotaku comments have become. Thanks for the article, Patricia, and I'm really, really sorry for everything that's happening beneath it.

I always ask for a running tally of exactly how many bowel movements were excreted by the previous tenant. I like to rotate toilets every 10,000 craps.

Meh. If the place was clean then what's the problem? If her friend hadn't showed her, then there wouldn't be an issue. She wasn't being "haunted", she didn't sense anything was wrong, there weren't weird smells or noises in the basement, and the guy who did the crimes wasn't coming back from the dead to come after her

They're aesthetically pleasing and I guess that the various guises of marketing

Yes, the larger problem seems to be with "pink" and "blue" aisles, which file away a lot of toys that need have no gender restriction for play. A more functional system of toy organization employed in some stores - dolls, action figures, building toys, games, etc. - would work better in that regard.

People make a lot of fuss over the "girly" Legos but if that's what it takes to get parents to say "ok" when their daughter wants Legos, then fine.
