Virgin is an insult to middle-schoolers and idiots. Slut is always an insult. It exists to degrade.

The stereotype is alive and well because you let it be.

Besides, just from reading that the quest line is in a mod with the word "ressurection" in it.

One can easily figure out that they are taking from the Mesopotamian myths where sacrificing a virgin to the gods can be used for dark sorceries.

Now get your panties out

There is no "issue" here. The mod uses a non-derogatory term in order to fill a part of its story. As I said, "virgin" is usually used in a non-derogatory way. If the mod said "detect sluts," then not only would it not be relevant to the game, it would obviously be there for nothing other than insulting people. You

This is a completely useless and non-constructive comment that does nothing except show that you're angry at something. First off, Kotaku mentioned nothing about this other then the fact that it was used as part of a questline. Virgin is not a derogatory term, at least in the general eye. Also, this probably points to

Hi! Today's lesson is in understanding context. Kotaku, as a video game oriented news blog, posts a number of blurbs about things that may be relevant to their reader's interests, in this case, the trailer for Season 2 of Video Game High School.

Ok, lets do this right. Follow suite: one thing you want to keep, one thing you want to get rid of, and one opinion that can go either way that you don't necessarily want a response to.

I second better co-op. Full campaign co-op would be ideal, it works perfectly in Saints Row 3, so its not a stretch to see the same system in the next Far Cry.

Nice to see Gavins work getting recognized outside the Escapist!

Where I live, only shitty people judge anyone by their shoes.

Video games are for children? Damn, that 18+ on the front of my game cases lied to me!

Actually season 1 had most of the references like the big lebowski, dr. who and such which died out completely after season 2. It became more self referential in the later episodes. I can't think of a single pop culture joke in season 3. So the realization that bronies have clinged onto the show didn't change it.

Except not. Games, like shows and movies, are aimed at specific demographics.

It's not the same argument at all, ChineapplePunk pretty much said it so read that if you want to understand. Why try to put words into my mouth? I never said games are art please stop with the logical fallacies. Also using mimicry because you have nothing better to say, really? How much more would you like your

For the record I have no thoughts on the Brony business, you do your thing, I do mine and the world keeps on spinning. That said:

Honestly, this has some amazing rhyming and lyrical work. The problem is that the music in the background is too grating on the ears and doesn't fit the song at all, in my opinion. It takes so much away from the actual rapping.

If they're so reclusive, then how did you meet them? Wouldn't they be in hiding?

Hmmm....I think I'll opt for the gas mask tonight. Seems like a perfect fit for the crowd.

It's mine. But you're a nice guy, so don't worry.
