I'm a 360 owner but will go back to PS after this. Just a quick question: I heard neither console is backwards compatible, but do you reckon Sony will somehow have older games available to buy on the PSN? I really, really want to play The Last of Us.

For a second during the Mad Max showing I thought it was here - sadly not. I reckon it will be a while yet. Beth isn't known for being a speedy dev.

I was never "Xbox 4 life" over it (PS3 was the only PS I haven't owned), but I was sure they would pull the same shit as Microsoft did. Consider me a happy bunny! I don't understand brand loyalty when that particular brand seems quite content to screw over their consumers.

Yup. I have no idea what goes into building a console - is it even possible for them to backtrack and change enough to compete? I can't see them being able to PR their way out of this. They are fucked.

I thought I'd regret staying up til 4am to watch this - turns out it was totally worth it. That was brilliant.

I've seen a couple of people saying they've cancelled on my FB feed already (and I'm in the UK where it's 4am, so it will be interesting to see what happens when everyone else hears the news).

I almost feel sorry for them.

I'm in the same boat. I'll keep my mind open to see if MS can save this, but as of now the choice is looking pretty easy from where I'm sitting.

Does anyone know when this will be available? Not near my Xbox so don't know if I could download it now.

Yeah, if I was that family with that kind of money I'd pay to have giant shutters to keep the mentals out and still leave the country.

I've seen a trailer and at one point these giant metal panels go down over the windows and doors. He's kitted out the house to be a bunker. I'm guessing that the boyfriend mentioned in the article manages to put the shutters up long enough for the masked preppies to get in.

I think it's probably much less likely now, but I remember reading a book (probably by Nancy Friday, but I can't be sure) where some of the women said that they had never masturbated. I have a feeling that generations since then have been far less sexually repressed, but it wasn't that long ago that the idea really

Most of my iTunes library is thanks to drunk purchasing I reckon. The Prince songs I can justify, but I have no idea why I needed the entire O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack.

I've had this Beaker one for ages now.

This is great! Where's it from?

I've got this game and while I love the spirit that it's made in, I'm having a really hard time with it. I'm not sure if there's something wrong with my vision, but I have a really hard time distinguishing people in it. I can't play most shooters because of this too. There's not enough colour variation between the

That and/or idiots only reading the title and skipping the article to comment "maybe if he did some exercise instead of sitting on his arse he'd have lived a bit longer". I hate the internet sometimes, I really do.

I'd guess because it's incredibly patronising. These guys (professionals) are being treated like 14 year old boys - keep them entertained with boobs, pay for the boobs to stick around long enough for them to think they're interested. On top of that I'd imagine that there were female devs there and the male coworkers

If you use this code, will you still get the achievement for unlocking 1999 mode on Xbox?

Yep. If it's who I think it is, he always gets told to do stupid shit and see how long he can get away with it.
