I don’t remember Ric Flair calling baseball games but he was fucking awesome at it in this clip.

Holy shit. That video gave me a Let’s Remember Some Guys-induced boner. Forget that it’s Brad Lidge facing Albert Pujols; that dugout shot of Clemens and Pettite, followed by Jim Edmonds and (GRIT ALERT) David Fucking Eckstein meeting Pujols at home was like crushing up the late 90s and early 00s and snorting it.

The second best part is the announcer telling us where the outfielders are positioned as though it would matter.

This article made me go look up his stats. As a lifelong Pirate fan I had almost forgot the kind of helplessness that came with having him in the same division. It’s also a rare combination of great player and truly good person to. This is a player that the Hall of Fame was made for.

Yeah, Simmons was great back when Page 2 was still yellow. But his writing has long since reached the “sign for the veteran’s minimum” stage of its decline.

I hear you...but this guy literally posted a pic of sandals—SANDALS—with a brinks truck backing up dollars. Come on now.

Isaiah Thomas looked so good with the Celtics for two reasons: Brad Stevens’s system is inherently point guard friendly, and the scoring was going to come from nowhere else on the 16-17 Celtics (Avery Bradley? Marcus Smart? Rookie Jaylen Brown?)

Tragedy plus time equals comedy.

I’m a heat fan; I love Ellington. IT’s arrogance has just rubbed me the wrong way.

+1 sniff

No, but he also didn’t need a wagon to carry his leg around in. Ellington, though, did have his best scoring year last season and is a career 38 percent three-point shooter. That’s a skill that will get you paid; coming off a wrecked hip won’t.

Are you sure the Celtics asked him to come back? Really sure?

That could be true. But if you’re a Celtic, and it wasn’t clear before, you’re much better off behaving like Kawhi than Isaiah when your team asks you to make a sacrifice like playing through injury or coming back quickly from a family member’s death.

Wayne Ellington is a very, very good shooter who isn't 5'7"

Has a rising star ever fallen this hard, this fast?

Have you considered that maybe the Celtics are contenders *because* he got traded away?

Good Kinja

Can someone explain to what the logic behind his contention that they “should” have lower crime rates?
