@Gabbelgak: Spanish is a beautiful language with syntax that often makes more sense than English. English is a bizarre, random mashup of words and grammatical structures pulled from dozens of languages and linguistic systems.

Red Dead Redemption, $120. I own two copies.

Which game was it in which moderators killed cheating players by chasing them down as a fourteen-foot rabbit? That was awesome.

@Killer Toilet: Government's fragmented, and the dollar's always good. Hell, still true today. Many places in Mexico will accept US currency, especially on the border.

Man. RDR was an excellent, excellent game. Still kind of shaken up. Not crying any more, though. Now to continue powering through Lost!

I beat it about 30 minutes ago. I cried a little. What an excellent game.

This sounds kind of awful. I love the Skate series because it's so different from stupid shit like this or the Tony Hawk series. This one's not for me.

@Madness87: Entourage is sloppy, and it doesn't have much going for it besides celebrity cameos and letting Piven be Ari Gold. I'm not a big fan, especially considering how painful and unfunny the last couple of seasons were. NBC and ABC both have comedies with better, more capable casts, that are consistently more

@Kanji08: They're comedies. I love dramatic shows, too, but these are fantastic comedies with brilliantly-composed ensemble casts. Parks & Rec had a pretty weak first season, but this past year was awesome. And Community knocked out a stellar 25 episodes for a first season.

@Nihilexistentialist: Forgive my lazy scanning of your post. I'm tired, and have been playing RDR for something like the last six hours.

@Mrugby08: HBO's known for some pretty high-caliber programming. Have you never watched The Wire, The Sopranos, Curb Your Enthusiasm, True Blood, Band of Brothers, or Generation Kill?

@Nihilexistentialist: My True Blood season one Blu-Ray set was $49.99. Where'd you find it for 80?

@Kanji08: NBC is killing it right now with Community and Parks & Recreation. Both shows just wrapped up stellar seasons.

@nantukoprime: The Wire is widely regarded as one of the best, if not the very best dramatic series in TV history, with pretty good reason.

So I missed tonight's Law and Order series finale. Apparently the ghost of Jerry Orbach came back to take everyone off the island? Does that sound about right?

@Tyber_Zann: Would actually be a good choice.
