It’s bad enough that it isn’t a manual, but my wife has had an X5 and a 535xi wagon with this setup and I’ve yet to see anyone else get in the car and drive away without demanding an expletive-filled tutorial. Shouldn’t selecting a gear be as intuitive as steering or braking?
