I honestly don't care that I'm not a finalist... I haven't played Dead Space. I only enter these contests because I enjoy it.

Ugh, I hate it when awesome, robust character creation tools lack beards. I mean, even The Sims 2 has a very poor selection, and on the user-generated content front, people always make specialty beards, like "the Jack Sparrow Beard".

@Reikoku: I have about a dozen shovels of various designs, for different purposes... but I used only the two shovels seen for the entry.

@Smurph: Portals create a spacial rift... they don't alter matter that goes into them. I guess with one foot in each portal, you could be standing on your other foot with both feet... hard to wrap your mind around that.

@NeVeRMoRe666: Well, I wouldn't say that... mainly because I don't think it's that great of an entry. I mean, look at that young man who covered his jaw in potting soil... A dirt beard! That's amazing!

Oh, wow... the dirt portals were my last minute, "this will have to do" entry... I wasn't expecting many votes at all!
