It's so bad it's good?

Raw numbers don't mean much in modern combat. They could send all the people they want but if they don't take air control (which I highly doubt they could against the US) those numbers would be useless. Plus the amount of ordinance the US can drop from long distances with accuracy is very substantial.

The moon landing was 44 years ago. Just think where the US could of been (and how much more great technology we would of gotten) if NASA was kept fully funded and on task.

Xbox has great games as well, just not as many that appeal to that demographic.

The whole running with weapons pointed straight back thing annoys me more than it should.

I ran UT3 smoothly with an ATI x1800. Gears of War on my old PC beautifully with an AMD Dual core and a ati 4870 just the same as Bulletstorm did years later.

I still play UT almost daily. In fact awhile ago threw this together from about a month worth of playing when I first started again. If he really manages to bring back a proper arena shooter I'll be beyond happy.

I still play UT2k4 almost daily (TAM servers) and it's still the most fun online shooter that's out imo (never got into quake having played UT first, hated the bunny hopping :p). Number one thing I'm noticing from reading these comments is it's obvious very few here were around when UT and Quake dominated online gaming.

Yea he only made the original Unreal with a small team, followed by UT, 2k3, and 2k4 which are imo the best arena shooters ever made (screw quake). Then he was part of the team that made Gears Of War which popularized the cover shooter which would define this generation. Bringing solid game play to third person…
