Because they're better than anything that is advertised as being 'gaming headphones' which are price hiked just for the word 'gaming'. I use this mic with mine and it's just as clear as anything else I've used.

GTA V is on the newer version on the Rage engine which ran Max Payne 3, and that ported very well to PC.
