I just got am XIM edge for Halo 4 since I've always played PC games. Not even to brag I may go back to controller because it makes it too easy, especially in snipes. I was impressed by the XIM though, works extremely well and was easy to set up.

Despite that I still found Halo 4 to be a great looking game, and even though it's 30 FPS it still felt smoother than the other Halo's to me.

It's very unlikely. Modern PC graphics cards are just now beginning to fully support 4k resolutions. So is the slow speeds strictly people's internet? Or are nintendo's servers slow/overburdened? Because I know for me if my bandwidth gets maxed it'll download 5 gigs in less than 4 minutes.

Once you hit a certain point in modern PC hardware every new game (save perhaps Crysis 3) you can assume will run at 60fps or above until the next consoles come out.

I've never really thought of it that way before..steam really was the life support for PC gaming.
