So let me get this straight. EA plans to make more sequels of the Battlefield franchise to compete with Call of Duty yet does this to their players? I'm not sure how they think any other games from the franchise will be successful when fans refuse to be screwed over again like this.

Don't no other console games host their own servers? I thought every other game just assigns host to the player with the best connection. I'm guessing BF3 is too large a game to do in this method?

Yea, especially for people like myself who enjoy Hardcore more. So hard to find a good server now with active admins who keep all the hackers banned.

Look to Lansanity's comment. The scroll of resurrection brought a ton of people back (myself and 3 other IRL friends included) which in my opinion is probably the biggest factor in the numbers evening out.

I guess it's all about personal preference with the New Ghost Recon. I played the online beta on PC and it just felt too clunky for my tastes. I did like how they did the HUD though.

This card is pretty much only for those who have a multi monitor setup. For only gaming at 1080p it's a waste.

It'll be about the same. You have to remember these generation of cards have undergone a die shrink so the actual chip is much smaller, consumes less power, so there's less heat. Course this thing will still be large, but not a complete monster.

This card is completely overkill and a waste for anyone using a single monitor. Like you said most people won't buy this, but PC enthusiasts are going to be all over it.

Actually just turning down AA to 2 and AF down to 8 will put it over 60fps at the same res.

I'd never heard of this game before so while watching that cut scene I quite literally thought it was animated footage from a PS1/2 game that people are sentimental about.
