There are some cultures, I believe mostly Middle Eastern cultures, in which the idea of a dog as a pet or service animal is considered unclean so members of those communities use minihorses as service animals instead of dogs.

Different subject but can everyone please remember that tomorrow is World Homeless Day. Homelessness can affect any one, thankfully I'm not homeless anymore. If you see a homeless person please try to help, maybe a coffee, food, most homeless people I know are lonely and it doesn't take 2 minutes to ask how somebody

I don’t like to compliment Lindsey Graham, but he would make an excellent Blanche Dubois.

But that’s where I keep all my stuff though!

I enjoyed it until John died and they started speculating about his sexuality and investigating it. Outing someone is never the right thing to do. If John was living his life in the closet, that was his choice and he was entitled to it.

At least he outlasted Margaret Thatcher.

Yes. I’m in the Bible Belt and I’m a parent through international adoption. I meet SO many evangelical families who’ve adopted non-white children. Many of them are lovely people and great parents who respect their kids’ birth cultures, but quite a few like to trumpet how they “saved” their children from growing up

Agreed. That was a lazy and shitty correlation.

As a child of Black Muslim’s raised in the 70's, Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood was one of the ONLY shows I was able to watch. His kindness reached through the television screen and to this day I am still saddened by his death. My kids think he is boring as hell, but to me, he will always be a wonderful man.

Tags still attached, you say? I thought this was a feature, not a bug?

why on Earth somebody who has a perfectly good thing with the royal family would even consider starting beef instead of just continuing to cash those royal checks

“Horton, Here’s a Poo!”

Mid century plus 5 here.... uh, had my first uh, well. Lets just say James Taylor’s Fire and Rain was prominent. I smile every time I hear it too.

I work with a lot of churches and today at was at a baptist church and the elder stated they were reconfiguring the pews so people could see over all the hats. HA!

Son of a preacher man here
