Watched one of these take off from McClellan Field last week. It's amazing to see all the old stuff that flies threw there. Some of it you cannot believe is airworthy.

The front grill on that thing is hideous. Already not worth the hassle. Seeing as how you can pick up a JDM accord six cylinder for like three hundred bucks that is at least a cheap and reliable option if you don't have to meet Cali smog laws.

Just get a cheap can of pepper spray or some of those ghost peppers they sell in the grocery store now. Five dollar fix. Just don’t rub your eyes while working on the car or spray anything that gets header hot. As a bonus, the guy that yanks your alarm out to steal your car will be weeping like a baby at some point.

So the police response time for a bank robbery in this county can be hours? And that radio looking thing he was talking into after he cuffs him is just a prop?

Wouldn’t that be something dispatch could coordinate with other agencies? I get why he chased the bike. However, he was sloppy about it and from the ramming hit and all that followed...he clearly he worked himself up into a lather.

Must drive with “due regard” and as safely as possible. Lack of a siren was a poor choice and is indicative of his lack of regard for others.

Seriously, this guy believes he is right...he is going to keep doing this crap for the rest of his career. So it should be over now. Hell instead he got a promotion.

Will he stick his neck out one last time?

So how much longer are ambulance response times now?

Yours looks like it would be pretty tippy with skinny tires and a high COG.

I had one of these in 1994. It cornered great and was plenty zippy in the dirt. My only real qualm with the car was the interior just kept falling apart and the removable roof leaked. The best part of the car was it came ugly from the factory, so all those gravel road rock chips one acquires when properly flogging a

If you don’t think killing people (even remotely) brings risk then your not seeing the forest for the trees. These folks have to carry that the rest of their lives. It takes a toll and I’d wager many f those folks would rather be flying there in person.

How does that happen ...paying $34 million for a $58 billion dollar fine? What is the equivalent of that for your average guy? Is that like getting a $580 smog ticket for your “test pipe” and giving the government twenty cents and saying we're good right?

It's ribbed for your pleasure.

Looked like a tonfa plus a suped up cattle prod to me.

Hal you know I have a medical card for that! So shut up and drive me to Taco Bell so I can give you something special to smell later tonight!

Maybe he thought it said “Snort Mode”. Your honor this is simply a honest mistake for a 73 year old who requires bifocal lenses in lieu of his current corrective lenses.
