I think theres room for both heavily active MMO healing like WoW and EQ2, as well as more pre-set healing games like XIV. Hell, City of Heroes you could forego healers entirely by buffing the shit out of the party’s defenses or debuffing the piss out of the mobs.

But I'm not about to forgive the game for giving us Kai Leng or giving incomprehensible space magic as one of our 3 endings.

in that case the entire game didn’t matter. The 2 biggest decisions in the previous 2 games (Rachni Queen and Collector Base) ended up the exact same, regardless of your choice, and couldve been completely omitted from the 3rd game and it wouldve had no impact.

Honestly disappointed that Sage is yet another shield healer. Unfortunately yoshi only knows how to count to 2 on that front.

Personally, id like a reactive/punishment healer like EQ2 Inquisitor. Or even just a healer that isnt a pure spellcaster.

im glad you enjoyed it. Conversely, i felt that they gave us less of a game
than even the middling 3ds games, but at 150% the normal price tag. Or 225% if you want the full game experience.
