Shoot the reaper kid in the face. The endings are mostly butt and they dont really answer any of the questions in a satisfactory manner.

If they go destroy ending, I really really want the Geth to still be alive. Its a horseshit copout to destroy the evidence against Reaper Child’s argument that AI vs people is an

If you forgot, in the Arrival DLC for ME2, there was an unbeatable sequence where Shepard takes a nap next to a Reaper indoctrination machine. Only after the ME2 DLC did the “oily shadows” (words the Rachni used to describe the songs of those indoctrinated) appear.

to piggyback on your post. 13 Sentinels got ROBBED on best Narrative.

Vanillaware created a video game with a wibbly wobbly maze of story elements that comes together in a satisfying way that will likely never be done again in the industry.

TLOU2 is....a revenge story. You want a revenge story that makes you want to

So I think I have my wires crossed. People aren’t actually thinking that CDPR intentionally implemented actual seizure inducing light patterns, right? And that in reality it just happens to accidentally mimic the mechanism? They weren’t like “ Yo Dave, let’s give some people epilepsy, that’ll show them.” I’m not a

absolutely going to start Haven this weekend. the game bakers won me over with Furi, and I cant wait to see what they give me this time.

Outside of that, i might hit up 428 and FFXIV in preparation for the new patch. Was gifted a copy of Hitman 2, so maybe that too.

I’ll just be over here starting a fight

As I was reading, I was surprised by the lack of discussion of Nintendo’s stubbornness as it related to the localization of Xenoblade after its release in Japan. Months of “no plans”, an online campaign, the eventual Gamestop exclusive release. I don’t want to credit OpRainfall unduly, but that aspect of the Xenoblade

>which almost NEVER happens.

part of the point is right there.

[Insert generic grumpy comment here about Destiny 2 inevitably winning another Ongoing Game award despite FFXIV being RIGHT THERE]

Alomomola is one of my absolute favorite pokemon, especially of the later gens. I have one for my “cute” and monowater teams, her name is Mittens. She’s outclassed competitively, but they’re cute, they have an interesting niche, their species name is a palindrome, and sunfish are woefully underrated as fish.

>no multiplayer

You arent the first or the last person ill hear say that. The NLA themes and Black Tar are the ones usually cited as the “worst”, but I cannot hate on Black Tar since it is Sawano incarnate. There was a good bit of experimentation, since Sawano had never done a video game OST before, and not everything is a winner,

Boob slider and magic bikinis aside, Mech games are a rarity, much less with gameplay on the level of the XB series. As such, it could survive on that alone. But it also has a genuienly likeable *real* protagonist in Elma (who even got her own trailer as DLC in XB2), a good (if polarizing) OST, and surprisingly good

I think at least part of the music situation is based off of licensing more than anything. Xenoblade X, for example, got 0 tracks to represent it, despite being a fan favorite with several very popular battle-friendly tracks. But since they were done by Hiroyuki Sawano’s weird Sony contract, its possible they weren’t

letsee:

3rd party*. First party would imply the company is Sony-owned, which would make 100% sense for them to be working on Sony exclusives.

Unless of course we’re talking about 2nd parties, companies that try to keep a semblance of individuality, but are still owned by the console publisher such as Insomniac, or the former

I dont think its going to hurt the mainstream end user very much. Penetration rates of 4K TVs is still relatively mild, and actual 4k content is getting better but still relatively small comparatively. The average person who buys the yearly madden or call of duty digitally isn’t going to give enough of a shit about 4k

Platinum improved on several of the issues DP had.

-The regional pokedex added 59 new mons to it with Pt, fixing 1.) That there were only 2 fire type lines pre-national dex, and 2.) Putting the new sinnoh pokemon in the actual sinnoh dex, which was also a problem back in GSC.

-Sped up most* of the game’s animations,

Its a respectable journey, i will say that. I would recommend giving Platinum a try if you can, since i feel it fixes almost all of the issues that Diamond/Pearl had. Im curious as to your thoughts on LGPE and Yellow, but i cannot fault any of your list.
