Person #1: “I just bought a new Miata.”

Oh, good. I was worried that the model name would be simple enough for me to remember.
Things seemed to go off the rails after the first Motorstorm...not enough innovation and change in the subsequent releases is what killed my interest in sticking with the series.
I was beginning to get very impressed with what was apparently not just a sticker package. That’s probably why that second to last sentence hit me like a runaway train carrying 3 miles’ worth of Voltron parts.
Tyler, I love your articles, but I would volunteer to proofread them for you if I thought it would help. A lot slips through- I’m not sure if perhaps you’re posting these faster than they can be checked by other staff?
You don’t want to be the one holding up the line at Dunkin’ Donuts with this guy behind you.
I’m laughing because it is incredibly ironic that the only good F1 rule changes are to undo very recent and undeniably bad rule changes
Bowen’s Garage in Eastford, CT. One of the oldest dealers in the country, I believe. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are not like other dealerships.
Live two miles from a dealer that just sold the only one they’ll be getting at MSRP. Good dealers exist
I think not.
When I went to the track last year, someone went into the wall. It then took almost 2 hours to clear him because the track didn’t have a ramp truck and was asking the attendees over the loudspeakers for someone to volunteer their enclosed trailer to remove the poor guy from the track. The track upkeep rationalization…
Here in Connecticut, we get to travel 2 hours each way to New England Dragway, sit in line for hours, and MAYBE get 3 runs in. I would want a price pretty close to ‘free’ for essentially 42 seconds of track time.
As a guy that has 3 Holley carbs sitting in his basement to tinker with, take me seriously when I say that, no, you cannot get the same MPG. You have to take into account that average small car weight has grown nearly 50%- so attaining the same MPG takes exponential increases in efficiency in other areas.
FOR GOD’S SAKE FORD, GIVE US A NEW BRONCO BEFORE I START MY OWN COMPANY CALLED DROF AND START MAKING THE DROF OCNORB AND BECOME A MULTIBILLIONAIRE
“He’s off duty. No way is he taking the 20 steps to this taxi to bust my dumb ass.”
I think you meant, “When Is The Porsche 928 going to be collectible enough to warrant its maintenance costs?”
Hmmm. When you say it like that, it’s like Russia hasn’t had any choice at all the past 25 years! They’re a string puppet being operated by NATO! A reactionary government! A little boy who wants to be left alone to kick his dogs and doesn’t like when the humane society comes along to try and help!
Certainly not me, but there are plenty of new Fiestas and the like doing it nowadays. And I see people trying to jump in with older Miatas, and the biggest financial hurdle is getting a damn hardtop.
Or if you want to rallycross. You need a hardtop for that. Yay factory hardtop!
Ok, changing approach. Red loctite?
