But then the thieves have to buy gloves. Then we make sharp edges that cut the gloves. This is how we won the Cold War.

OK, Ok. What about wheels with airbags in them, tied to the alarm system?

Why aren’t electrified wheels a thing yet? I like the idea of an alarm system that forces a “No Pain, No Gain” motto for potential thieves.

What are you basing this on? One of the design goals for the chief engineer of the S550 was literally to beat the track performance of the Boss 302.

The Boss intake is basically a tunnel ram. They sacrificed low end torque for high end performance on track. The cobra jet intake is the best of both worlds and is supposed to gain back that low end torque loss. The variable intake in the new GT does the same thing, just with a low profile. If you look up the numbers,

It is NOT faster. The new GT posts faster lap times than the old Boss on-track.

Uncomfortably close. Boss cars, Laguna Seca versions especially, have not really fallen below the 35-40k mark.

They probably store it like that, lest it wreck the garage every time someone wants to start it.

They suffer from typical British engineering flaws...always confusing “different” with “better"

Laughed, then cried a little. Has happened to me with my GF. Guess who got to fix her brakes, too?

HOLY CRAP that was a flashback.

“Dear...Leader...would.....like.....pizza....for...lunch.”

Quite literally all killer, no filler.

Here’s hoping that if we gather together enough people with psychology degrees, they can blow things up with their mind.

So park can be in any gear? Does it not move between notches and just toggle forward and backward to increment selection for everything? Why is park a button but reverse is not? Why does D/S have two down arrows? WHY AM I STILL ASKING QUESTIONS INSTEAD OF DRIVING

I bought a 2005 Volvo with the ‘sport shift’ doodad as my commuter/responsible/respectable car a few years ago. I have used the manual shifting ability twice. Once, when I first got it, upon which I was immediately disgusted and vowed to never use it again.

Complexity for the sake of complexity is not really something to be lauded, in my mind.

I consider myself a pretty smart guy, but looking at this:

I don’t know...planes go faster than that, yet somehow they don’t crash even with all those bars in front of them!

I feel like you are glossing over his strongest points. For example, we both have arms and legs. And we both love vodka.
