Long time reader, first time with a story to share! My toddler likes to shout “echo” into the corners and stairwells of our army housing in Pearl Harbor, Honolulu area. Sometimes she would say “see echo” while pointing and I’d just nod along. I thought maybe she had “echo” and “gecko” mixed up. This year I pull out

someone’s gonna jump in with an explanation about child development and how 20.5 months is sooooo different from 21 months. Just want to prepare you for that

Ah, I’m doxxing myself because my friends all know this story. I waited until daytime to write it because it scares me so much.

Not just you! I thought I had scary-storied myself out by reading all the scary story threads this past week, but it’s good to know it really is that most of these are just boring/overdone/unoriginal. (I’m sure they were scary when they happened to whoever they happened to, but sometimes fear doesn’t translate.)

Never forget the bloody truck in the holler. Scary as fuck.

That was a good one! I can totally still envision the figure shorting out and reappearing.

Not you.

The past few years the quality has just sunk. This was the worst yet, I read these stories for easily a week and I can maybe remember 2 or 3. the winners are mostly garbage and obviously fake. I don’t care if people fake stories but you gotta make me believe it. Look at me is a good example. The instant I see all the

Is that the one where the person had headphones on and they were studying and then when the parents came home, they saw all the writing on the wall? There’s a thousand variations of that story, I couldn’t believe how much people liked that one(if we’re talking about the same story)

Is it just me, or are these stories getting less and less scary each year? I think it’s gotten too popular and now people are just writing these, long pieces of fiction.

There was one several years ago about some lady’s boyfriend who was stationed in Iraq and one night they all see a figure several hundred yards outside the base. That one still creeps me out until this day.

Yeah but “Look at me” is really old creepypasta and honestly shouldn't have been included because it's blatantly fake. It's been around for over ten years.

My 100% true story is pretty brief but still scares me over a year later...

What makes you think the dead hate us?

Medium creepy story, but very affecting part of my life...

a few years ago while apartment hunting with my old roommate, we were taken around to a few places by the realtor. i remember it being very dark in general, but since it was october it might not have been that late at night. we came up to a spot that was pretty creepy, it was a 2-family house across the street from a

I might have posted this before a few years ago but here it goes. We don’t talk about it much in my family, because it stills makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up (moreso for my parents, who got the full brunt of it), but we all agree that Something Bad happened.

A few years ago, my aunt, uncle, and 4 cousins moved into a new home our in the suburbs, it was their first house and was surprisingly cheap based on the neighborhood and size. Things seemed to be going great for them, but after 6 months of living there, they suddenly announced that they were getting divorced and my

This seems like a good story to tell today, as North Florida is about to be struck by another hurricane tomorrow.
