That's a nice story... but frankly the first thing that comes to my mind is, that must be a shitty parent. Why? Because well-raised kids NEVER talk back to the parents, let alone label them as "worst"!

Where I grew up, my peers and I had to dig ditches. LITERALLY. Yes, during the off-school (holiday) season we would help dig the irrigation canals in the farms. Even little pre-teen boys were doing it. The little girls would be following their moms sowing seed lines in the areas that were already irrigated.

I run my household with what is (by American/Western standards) basically an Iron Fist. Believe it or not, my wife is slightly stricter than I am. People are surprised to find out that I'm the "good cop"!!
