Great, I’m going to get MORE bruises. It’s been snowing here all day and night, and looks like it’s going to keep up for the next few days.

We actually have a shared bike/walk trail in my neighbourhood and the sheer number of people who walk in huge groups, taking up the whole trail, or who walk on the WRONG SIDE is infuriating, but as the person on a vehicle, it’s up to me to watch out for them.

I LOVE Rottweilers.

I think it’s the stigma of poodles. They’re characterized in media as the “mean girl” of dogs. 

At the local school in my old neighbourhood, which had a high poverty rate and many families from minority groups, it was almost all middle class white idiots with a “saviour” mentality, who were patronizing and condescending to students and families. They tried that shit on a friend of mine, and her “Excuse me?”…

What the fuck is that caption supposed to mean? Why would you think that was funny, especially in the CONTEXT OF THE ARTICLE?

Yeah, the almighty dollar, with its ability to smack us all around. It makes me so sad for the kids.

I’m not even sure why these shows continue to be allowed, after the abuse scandal last year(I think?) with that one family. A family home video I can see, but honestly, most of these are just about exploiting kids for a quick buck. 

One side is saying that women who get abortions should be killed, that refugees and immigrants should be abused and imprisoned, and that Nazis are very fine people. 

Every so often I see a comment by you that just makes me so happy we exist in the same universe. You’re so damn smart. 

Here in Canada the bigotry in the comments pages of articles on Muslim and First Nations issues got so bad that the national news service, CBC, just turned them off. People can still say that shit, of course, but they can’t say them on that news services site. 

After the shitty way they treated their employees, why would you want them to come back? 

Frankly, any ghibli movie is going to win out over Pixar in terms of quality.
