The thing is until we get more fossilized intigument we really will not know either way what the feather status was. Right now most of the fossilized skin fragments are super tiny, and there might have been feathers present that had already decomposed by the time of fossilization.

I’m so happy. I love these guys, and new footage is just thrilling. They’re so cute, too, and their spots look so adorable, like they were painted on with the tiniest of brushes!
