I got one of those “drawing prompt” books. I always kind of made fun of them, but it’s sort of working now. 

Until I was eight, I was convinced I could grow up to be a whale. Even after I understood physical transformation was impossible, I still thought I could just go and live with them. In the water. 24/7. 

Um, my province has LITERALLY been taking in immigrants fleeing your government for the past couple years, but okay, jerkass.

I admit I was tempted when I saw the sharks in the petting pool at the West Edmonton Mall, but it was followed by “no, you cannot have the cute fish baby, go look at the penguins.”

No, I just have to run down to my mom’s to check on her fish.

I just drank half a pot of coffee and promptly fell asleep. Who’s idea was that?

That was a stupid story and it should not have been in every English ass I took from grade 8-12. Bad story, bad choices, just sucky in general. The only good thing that came of it was a simpsons joke. 

Last time there was a super moon blood moon eclipse in Manitoba, I snuck my grandma out of the retirement home and took her to go see it. 

Seems to me if they’re making a living selling hot wheels cars they’ve got a job. 

I knew a girl whose granny used cedar bark tea to keep from getting pregnant. It worked, as far as I know, but she never had kids again. My mom told me years later that that was the point, but, yikes.
