I'm not really set up to make candy atm either. (I guess you could just buy chocolate and melt in a microwave/double boiler and pour it) I feel like candy making, and regularly crushing peppermint, are things that you don't just up and do. preparation.

The peppermint bark IS amazingly delicious and better than just about any other peppermint bark I've found from any other place.

no, I think I get what you're saying, it's just the deeper understanding of the immune system maybe that I'm misunderstanding. You're describing antibodies/flu shot as more of a brick wall when I've always understood it more as a line of people with guns. If you get the vaccine you have the people already stationed

Here's a question that I haven't necessarily seen an answer for.

abominable. I bet he leaves a full inch of cheesy goodness too.

This (possibly) really dates you. The 'go back to the parents' town and drink heavily the night before' stuff fades, probably on average between 10 and 15 years, to where most people have kids/are hosting Thanksgiving. I suspect most of the people at the townie bars now are (at least) the next generation of kids.

oh god no. Dunkin makes coffee for people that don't really like dark roasty coffee. It taste bland and boring to me. That's why they suggest putting flavor shots in it.

When I was still working in Manhattan last summer a Gregory's Coffee Shop was serving "Croissant Donuts" during the height of the craze. I got one, as an afterthought, while waiting for them to pour my coffee. It was quite delicious.

I forgot Trader Joes sells beer. I bought their crappy Oktoberfest a couple of years ago when I was out in California, but the ones in New Jersey i've been to are dry. I blame New Jersey's stupid laws obviously, even if they've been repealed for a while now.

um, where's the link to the Family Guy song?

I figure a good measure of 'moderate blogger success' is getting free stuff. Hasn't happened to me in the beer world yet though.

Don't you just hate when book series, or movie series, build towards a big conclusion that's always at the freaking end? Next time just stick the ending and resolution in early, saves me from thinking.

also delicious: Their cerise sour, and their sour pumpkin porter.

geeze, spoilers much? My kid's only 3 months, there is no peace and quiet ever.

He doesn't have opinions, he has talking points. loudly.

no, first off, stop calling them JRPGs. we just want good games, particularly RPGs if we're fans of the style. We don't care who or how they're made.

I grabbed one singular bottle of this out of some perverse idea that I should try it. It will likely sit in my fridge always being passed over by something else when I'm looking for a beer.

Allow me to rep Kuka's Banana Nut Brown which I'm not sure you can get up there. Belgiany, balanced. etc.

whew, that was close. They almost had to actually discuss sports.

You've got it backwards I think. That's beer-flavored limeade not lime-flavored beer.
