Neutral: I think the diesel market will continue to grow, slowly. Folks want good MPGs but not everyone wants to drive soul-sucking hybrids. Also people that tend to lean towards VW and Audi TDI probably have a better understanding of diesel technology and the fact that an oil-burner is not the crap that GM put out in

Time to bring back Pontiac!

So now pontiac can make a comeback as a solely performance oriented brand...

How about they set they target weight at the Mirage's 1,996 lbs that Jason just reviewed. Then it just wont be a car anymore, it will be a street legal go kart.

Did anybody else see this area and immediately think Cavalier?

But does it hatchback?

This wouldn't happen with a hatch. Yes I'm going to keep beating this horse until WRX hatch appears.

The website says that a six-speed automatic is "available." Does that mean that a manual gearbox is available too? Please please please...

Needs more wagon.

Just let me know when I can pick up my cert to the Skip Barber school.

This is pretty funny, but a lot of people will miss the larger point. Sure, there's probably a greater amount of male enthusiasts than female enthusiasts, but it really angers me when I see stuff at events like when they have "bikini babes" seductively wash a car in front of a bunch of leering dudes (and I'm a dude).

I have a manual Subaru XV Crosstrek. I had to wait until it arrived from Japan. The dealership called it the "Unicorn Crosstrek". I also have a manual Subaru Justy, a manual Subaru 360 van and a manual Lotus Elise and a manual Chevy Cruze Eco : )

Proud owner of a '12 Impreza wagon (I mean 5 door hatch back) with a manual box.

The brown, rear-wheel drive diesel manual transmission wagon could be considered the holy grail of Jalopnik vehicles.

I went to a Waffle House once.

I'm biased towards the mopar products myself. As such, 1972-80 dodges.

1992 Dodge W250: 5.9l Cummins, 5-speed, 4x4, HX40 turbo. I drove it 0.7 miles to work each day and probably would have kept it if there was no lift kit. Talk about kidney-buster:
