this is really not good.
this is really not good.
Time to fuckin’ wildcat on them, then.
Private security companies were, in large part, one of the main reasons that 9/11 happened. Or has everyone forgotten that already?
I’m just glad when they’re killing characters, they’re doing it for good narrative reasons. The Children and Summer went out on their own terms, and Hodor had a unique end, to say the least. It doesn’t seem as gratuitous as it was last season.
Nah.
I am so glad I made this gif.
Timbuk2's Copilot roll-on, the medium sized one. Lifetime warranty, it’s repairable, the wheels and bearings are skateboard wheels so they are replaceable. Can’t think of getting anything else. http://www.timbuk2.com/copilot-carry-…

Yeah, I can live with it. It definitely added the right kind of depth and texture to Bernthal’s portrayal.
The taser scene with the Kitchen Irish was lifted from Valley Forge, Valley Forge. The razor blade in the arm scene taken from Man of Stone. A lot of the back-and-forth between him and Matt was borrowed from Daredevil/Punisher: Means and Ends. They basically raided the pantry and used as much good stuff as they could.
Punisher War Journal as a standalone series.
What absolutely made this season for me was the Castle/Murdock interactions. The third episode was spell-binding. The Punisher is, as a character, an ideal foil for Daredevil, and seeing Matt rhetorically grapple with Frank for most of the episode after having been gotten the better of by him twice is what hooked me…
Bernthal as The Punisher was pitch-perfect. They borrowed a lot of his characterization from Garth Ennis’ run on Punisher Max (including one scene with a razor blade) and Bernthal delivers on it with a performance that is utterly convincing. The way he carries Frank is someone who is mostly dead inside, hollow, no…
Big fan of the Technivorm. There’s a couple of additional things I’d emphasize. The heater and pump of this coffee maker have a lifetime warranty and are built to last, and every other part can have replacements purchased and installed without sending it in for service. It also makes phenomenal coffee.

In all honesty, the big takeaway I got from this documentary is an abiding sense of concern for Clay Matthews. Opiate addiction is a really awful thing.
One other layer to the temper-tantrum scenes is that it showed you why everyone around Ren was afraid of him. In the original trilogy, he was force-choking folks with unsettling frequency. That combined with the armor, the size of the character, and the amazing voiceover work by James Earl Jones created this…
I haven’t been this enthused about a Marvel movie since Winter Soldier, god DAMN.
Don’t forget the First Lady of the state of New York, Sandra Lee. Bourdain’s been absolutely merciless with her.
You do realize that Steve Rogers represents an America of the New Deal and the Popular Front, right? He’d be fine with a robust, strong social welfare state.
Great piece, one criticism. Kevin Johnson does not have sex scandals. He has rape scandals. He had sex with minors who attended his schools. That is rape. Period.
