Anyone else see a pattern of this show weakening, even infantalizing, Myka? She's frequently been whiny and helpless. It's like the writers are sapping her strength (maybe it was in the curls). The whiny tone alone is grating. I find this to be a worrisome development. To me, her team-up with Janeway — er, Jane —

Did the Native Americans get it from the Klingons?

"Jason is one moment kicking out Jessica in a bros before hos moment and then in the next is sleeping with her. "

"it was more or less the gay version of the new testament."

Creepier than Glee?

This idea will be part of the core science curriculum in red states in a couple of years. Cubed earth will be to flat earth as intelligent design is to creationism.

Oh, thankyou, thankyou. The "falling in love with the Doctor" thing is a very unwelcome part of the otherwise decidedly welcome "new" series. I can welcome a little romance with my science fiction in some settings — just not on Doctor Who. And the whining/pining gets very old, very fast.

Damn you for reminding me of that crapfest flick! Ahhhhhhhhhh

"Hello, yes. Comcast? Yes this is Kiiiing Bill Compton of Louisianaaa. I'm calling in regaaaards to a television operation malfunction."

I doubt Michael Bay can escape blame for the films being so blindingly stupid.

I was overcome with giddy laughter at the words "The novelization of Transformers..." As if words matter with this insipid franchise. Oh my.

You mean one of Bob Dylan's songs, of course.

Wow. Eleven replies in and no one has mentioned kid fucking? That's amazing, particularly since the global church — a temporal power with a spiritual facade — has encouraged and covered up the sexual abuse of children for decades. Sure, the church is the victim. Right.

You have a general point here worthy of consideration (Sweet jumpin' Jesus, I might lose my commenting privileges for saying that). As for the "Warehouse 13" comparison, I would say there is an essential difference in point and tone. W13 is meant to be ridiculous, mostly breezy fun. "The Event," I fear, is deeply
