I for one never got why a GT needs a monstrously powerful engine or brutal acceleration. A GT is made for high-speed cruising - it should be stable and composed at high speeds, but also retain a measure of comfort, something the SVX pulled of really well.

I think some commenters wrongly conflate you saying the clutch pedal is archaic and will eventually go away with you saying that liking oldschool manual transmissions is bad and they should feel bad for liking them.
