Standing against Roy Moore was the principled stance. Coming together to defy the child molester is what happened. Are you saying that electing Doug Jones was an unprincipled stance on the part of black people? Nothing you’re saying makes sense.

The AV Club has had confirmation bias issues for several months.

“doesn’t mean everyone else who owns and uses them responsibly should suffer.”

If you look up “best rifle for X hunting” on Google, the AR-15 almost never shows up. It’s not a dedicated hunting rifle. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and cheap due to proliferation and ease of manufacturing. It’s also got a massive support industry of add-ons and kits for modifying it.

That’s not what is being said. The point is that the game has become the subject of a political polarization due to a snow-balling confluence of statements made by the devs, design/writing choices, and the randomness of the modern internet.

It’s a dig at Bethesda’s world-building, not GoT

I’m a huuuge fan of history and historical games, and I’ve been dealing with this same shit since I was a teenager playing D&D and historical tabletop wargames in the 90s. The historical gaming community has always been filled with war-fetishists and Nazi-apologists who have a selective vision of history. The kinds of

Good for Blue Mammoth!

The mod also adds vampires, werewolves, and an assortment of other crazy creatures, a lot of which have nothing to do with porn, and it all adds an interesting dimension to the base game, arguably improving it (if you don’t mind a little fantasy in your historical sims).

That depends on the students (and the teachers) skin color.

The only scene that I clearly remember passing the test (there might be more but my memory is foggy), is the car chase scene. Two women, named characters, talking and interacting with each other while dealing with the battle in front of them while BP is off taking care of a different group of vehicles alongside his

I’m with you. Fighting games really are a good match for actual combat, in terms of the split-second pacing (though the HP pools are sometimes a little off). For me, the thing missing from fighting games is the larger depth of systems. They do combat, and they do it very well! But that’s all they do.

Obliterating history and perpetuating ignorance in the name of ‘freedom’ is a tool often used by those who lean far right in order to enforce their authoritarian agendas and empower their control of the state.

As someone who spent some time doing HEMA and the like, the moves and the animations are probably some of the most historically accurate I’ve seen in a game, but the pacing is still too slow and ‘stilted’. The slowness is actually what hurts it the most for me.

Coward.

Which game, or games, would get featured in the Olympics, and how would those games be chosen?

I’d love to read a breakdown of all the symbolism in this video. It’s really fantastic, and the costuming/wardrobe is magic.

Dynasty, you say?

Visuals look interesting, at the very least.

I think (and I say this as a SW nerd), it’s less about the prequels being “not that bad” as movies, and more about the ideas, characters, and general style of the prequels being redeemed in retrospect by all of the materials that have come out since, and when you compare them to the new films, which are distinctly
