Thanks for the breakdown. I know Frostbite is capable of a lot of stuff that Unreal isn’t, one of which is the ability to attach 3-axis rotating planes/sprites to GPU particles. I’ll take a look at the engine again when I head in to work, but I think I’m remembering that right. I figure with simple collision boxes and

I’m a VFX artist, and I’m taking notes.

You don’t have to simulate these physical behaviors though, you only to have to simulate your experience of them. Ultimately, your brain has to build a simulation of the universe to understand incoming data anyway, so whether you say there’s a larger matrix-style meta-simulation, or if it’s a localized one doesn’t

“You can’t legislate against evil.”

Eat the rich, indeed.

They invented the perception of the ‘warrior caste’ for themselves. They desperately want to see themselves as part of a grand warrior culture. It’s why they idolize groups like the Spartans and other historical warrior societies (like the Germans) even as they hand wave, excuse, and embrace the institutions of

I’ll stick the mods I’ve had for years, thanks.

As a veteran, I hate statements like this. The vast majority of soldiers I served with cared about two things: their own asses, and the asses of the people they served with. Loud, open-faced patriotic zeal was reserved for crazies, glory-hogs, and the chumps who thought their shit smelled better than everyone else’s.

The other part that I have a hard time getting over is that you spend all this time in the first chapter learning to beat up the magisters, and then you fight this big boss battle, only to find that the magisters on the mainland have better stats then the boss you just defeated! It tore me completely out of the story.

Apologies if this is off-topic:

In a multiverse of infinite Ricks, even if only one in one-hundred-million Ricks are unlucky or have the sort of personality that suits them to a Citadel life, then there’s still an infinite number of possible citadel Ricks who would leave Beth behind and make all the other choices needed to trap them in a crappy job

Why do people keep saying “there’s no plan to pay for it” when there clearly are plans to pay for it?

All four of my sisters have asked me to draw them their next tattoos.

High prices and excellent sandwiches.

This is quality posting.

Thones is love. Thrones is life.

I had a discussion with an alt-right person on kinja last week about antifa, and they were making those exact connections. Showing me photos of a random dude holding a soviet flag, and linking me to articles talking about how antifa are an extension of the proto-communists that opposed the Nazis (but were just as

To answer number two: I think the origin of this is less about the physical altercation itself, and more about the fantasy that the two women are fighting over the man observing the fight.
