DK just had a big purge of long-time members who happened to support Sanders. I wasn’t among them, but I had to remove the site from my usual circuit of websites I go to... I used to really like that place, but now it’s hard to tell the difference between people who actually want to fight Republicans, and people who

Pool-party summer cosplay strikes me as one of the few occasions where ridiculously skimpy clothing makes total sense and it doesn’t make me feel sympathy-discomfort for the cosplayer.

Horse Armor, but on an industrial scale.

I was going to post suggestions for what they could do it better... but then I realized that this problem is way beyond my expertise and decided to just post this instead.

Optimizations would be lovely... The game is great, but to this day it still has a jenkiness about it that makes it feel like it’s still in Alpha.

Calling these people angry or rational is a stretch. The vast majority of people who don’t vote are apathetic, politically ignorant, lazy, or all of the above.

Went to try it, but then it said it wanted to “check on me, daily”

A small part of that equation probably includes the fact that a significant portion of the student body actually wants to be there.

The high-heeled sandals and boots drive me nuts. Did you notice in at least one combat sequence (where she’s fighting the Germans in that house), her footwear doesn’t have heels?

I do know that some of the other TYT hosts and reporters are pushing back against this on twitter. As a member of the network, I’ve also sent them an email asking that they address the issue officially.

The voice actors themselves were also so much more enthusiastic and memorable too! All of them!

I’m going to go ahead and use this as a relevant platform to declare that the original 80s dub of Nausicaa (called Warriors of the Wind) that Miyazaki hated so much is exactly 45.6% better than the Disney dub put out decades later. I’m sure the original Japanese is the best, but the voice actors on the Disney version

My take away from this is that you find bears hot.

I did some digging on the corvette spam issue, and found some pretty interesting discussions about counters on the paradox forums. It seems that if you know your opponent will be using a large number of high evasion corvettes, there are more diverse fleet builds that can beat those attacks.

The corvette stacking issue comes and goes with various updates. I see it more as an exploit than a ‘strategy’, so I never play it like that. If you cheat, you win, I don’t doubt that for a second! They fixed it for a short time, and I’m sure they’ll fix it again. Then it will break again, and then they’ll fix it

Actually, you can. Have you played Endless Space 2?

The example I like to cite comes from my first game: I played the tree people first. They are billed as a pacifist nation, so I fully intended to play them that way. It certainly helped that their lore and quests constantly reinforced that idea too.

I also wrote a review for this game on Steam, which isn’t something I often do. It’s not as thorough as this one, but I do echo a few of the points you made here: the game is gorgeous and full of character, but the AI is arbitrary and the combat feels like a dull afterthought.

Please cite a similar situation when Bernie complained that Hillary was using the “woman card”. Or any situation where he suggested that.

All his money, power, privilege, and influence that he cultivated over the years, and he couldn’t even beat the average American life expectancy.
